Bradley George

Bradley George is a public radio host and journalist in Atlanta.

I'm the Atlanta bureau chief at Georgia Public Broadcasting. Prior to that, I was the network's Morning Edition host. I've also reported for NPRMarketplace, and The Takeaway

I came to Georgia from Nashville, where I woke up Morning Edition listeners at WPLN from 2011 to 2014. The Tennessee Associated Press awarded me Best Radio Interview and Best Political Coverage distinctions. My story on country star Jim Reeves' popularity in India won an award from the Public Radio News Directors Inc (PRNDI) in 2014.

I've also worked at WBHM in Birmingham and WFDD in Winston-Salem, NC.  I have a degree in Theatre and German Studies from Guilford College (class of 2002).

I grew up in North Carolina. My love of radio started with a shortwave radio I got for Christmas when I was 11.
